Adjustments, Stretching, and Exercises: What They Help With

Techniques For Chiropractic Care

In conjunction with chiropractic adjustments, stretching exercises allow proper motion in the spine and prepare muscles for activity. Stretching before and after a workout can prevent muscle strains and soreness and help prevent subluxations and health problems. Stretching exercises will help improve your flexibility and strengthen muscles. At Pure Family Chiropractic we have an active care area where we can show you, hands on, some techniques for stretching and strengthening – it can even be fun!

Research published by Dr. Roger Sperry, a medical doctor who won the Nobel Prize for Brain Research, tells us that 90% of the stimulation and nutrition to the brain is generated by the movement of the spine1.
